What’s the Role… 

Our successful applicant will report into the Senior Duty Manager & Operations manager and be responsible for supervising the day to day running of Wadurs swimming pool and all activities within the facility. You will be working as part of a small, friendly team dedicating to ensuring all our customers satisfaction. You will and be expected to assist in the setting up of various activities and ensure that cleanliness, safety, and great customer experience is maintained throughout the facility. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required or the ability to attend and complete a training course. 

About you… 

The successful candidate will need great customer care skills and be prepared to work a shift pattern which will include some early starts, late finishes, weekends, and Bank Holidays. The candidate must have experience of working in a large, comparable leisure facility and managing / motivating a team.

What’s the Role…

Our successful candidate will be a strong, confident swimmer. A current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential. You will need good customer skills and be prepared to work a shift pattern to include early starts, late finishes, some weekends, and Bank Holidays.

To become a Lifeguard with South Downs Leisure you will be required to do a swim test prior to interview and if successful at interview we may consider paying for your NPLQ course.  However to qualify for this funding  you will be required to work at least 100 hours over a year (post qualification) and all lifeguards must undertake working a weekend shift.  If you leave before you have worked the 100 hours you will be required to pay back the cost of the NPLQ course fee.

Post: Full Time Duty Manager/Lifeguard

Salary Grade:

Duty Manager:   24 hours per week: Grade 3-4: £20,517 to £22,843 Pro Rata

Post: Casual Badminton Coach

What’s the role… Splashpoint has a vacancy for assistant swimming instructors to join the AquaSchool Team. The roles are to assist in the teaching of pre-school classes to children enrolled in our busy swim school.

About you… Are you a level 1 qualified assistant swimming instructor, enthusiastic, conscientious with excellent customer care skills? If yes, you could just be who we are looking for.
