Worthing Croquet Club is situated on the lawn to the east of The Barn building at Field Place where we enjoy playing on 2 x 3/4 size lawns and 1 full size lawn. Preschool children will have fun learning in a safe and friendly environment. They will love to jump and learn basic trampoline skills. Preschool members will be rewarded with British Gymnastics proficiency awards as they progress.
Fun gymnastics sessions at Field Place for walkers up to the age of 5yrs. Sessions are structured, fun and safely run by British Gymnastics qualified coaches. Programmes are carefully planned each week to offer variety and give stimulus to the child’s physical and social development. Activities include a warm up, hand apparatus, fun gymnastics stations and skills and a cool down with stickers for achievement. Worthing Swimming Club provides a structure which allows everyone in Worthing and the surrounding area to learn to swim, play water polo or dive whilst providing an opportunity to compete.
Sussex Mermaid School – One hour fitness/mermaid swimming, includes at least 45 minutes of pool time and fun poolside warm up and cool down. Learn to swim like a mermaid, engaging leg, arm and core muscles so your strength and flexibility improve. You’ll be fitted with a fin and tail which is yours for the class (tails come in shimmery blue, green or rainbow colours). Every session includes structured time for the pod to develop group routines, fun time as well as space to enjoy moving your body in a totally new way, swimming, floating and flipping through the water. All ages, sizes and swimming abilities are welcome, but you must be able to swim a width confidently, float on your back and tread water for 60 seconds. All Members: We run an Annual Club Championships and all members are welcome and encouraged to enter. Everyone is rewarded with a medal for taking part and it is a day that is enjoyed by both our competitors and spectators. We also offer end of term activities for all to enjoy; these include swimming parties, discos, and picnics.
Tuff Fitty is one of the oldest triathlon clubs in the country, celebrating their 30 year anniversary in 2021.
We are an inclusive club (adults only) of 150 members, and have a vast range of experiences and ages up to Ironman and Team GB participants, although many of our members are just starting out on their multisport adventure.
With 12 qualified coaches, all British Triathlon qualified, plus run, bike and swim specialists, we have the perfect mix to help you achieve your multisport goals.
We host a variety of training sessions across most nights of the week and have a strong club identity, hosting club member races, a club championships and social events; camaraderie is important to us and we also offer club kit too.
Please feel able to email to enquire about what we get up to. We are an adult club but open to all abilities and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Potential members are welcome to come along to our Worthing Leisure Centre track evening, on a Wednesday at 7pm, to try a track session before needing to enquire about membership.

Worthing Powerlifters train in the weights room at Worthing Leisure Centre. They meet every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Other evening times may vary. The group’s Senior Coach is Alan Rainger and the Powerlifting Coach is Mitchell Tutt (Mitch). The members of the group are a friendly crowd with great competitive spirit. The group has been successful in national and international competitions. Mitch is the current British record holder at his body weight. Great Britain Powerlifting Federation – first ever British deadlift competition and first time new bodyweight categories (olympic weight groups) at Woking Power Club. We congratulate Mitch for coming second with a personal best of 265 kg (583 lb) in 105kg (under 17 stone) category.

Goring Manor Bowls Club is based at Field Place, Durrington. It is a friendly, mixed club which caters to the needs of bowlers of all standards. We have a player at international level in the club and brand new players to the game and we all mix in. We compete in the top Men’s League in West Sussex and also in mixed leagues based in Worthing and district. Our Ladies also play in County competitions. In addition, we play friendly matches against other clubs to cater for those who seek less competitive play. Yet there is still time for very relaxed, fun based roll-ups with other members from within the club.
