Post: Duty Officer
Salary: £17,355 – £21,110 p.a pro rata (Grade 3 – 4)
Hours: 1 full time (37 hours) at Worthing Leisure Centre | 1 full time (37 hours) and 1 part time (27 hours) at Southwick
Location: Worthing Leisure Centre / Southwick Leisure Centre

We work with local clubs, charities, schools and wellbeing providers and are dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents. We currently run 4 sites in Worthing and are excited to be opening 3 new sites in Adur; Lancing Manor & Southwick Leisure Centre, and Wadurs Swimming Pool in Shoreham. Therefore, we are looking to recruit a skilled team of enthusiastic and highly motivated staff to work at these sites, across a variety of roles and in turn, who will help spread our message to get, More people, More Active More often!
What’s the Role …The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising the day to day running of the centre and all activities within the facility, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will also work as part of a team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and be expected to assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the complex and assist in the setting up of various activities.
About you… The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising the day to day running of the centre and all activities within the facility. They will need good customer skills and be prepared to work a shift pattern to include early starts, late finishes, some weekends and Bank Holidays. The candidate must have experience of working in a large, comparable leisure facility and managing a team.
