Worthing Leisure Centre is located on Shaftesbury Avenue in West Worthing.

You can reach Shaftesbury Avenue by following the A259/A2031 from Littlehampton and turning right at the Centenary House roundabout, or left if coming from East Worthing/Broadwater on the A2031.

For all other directions you can follow the A259 east/west to the traffic lights with Shaftesbury Avenue.

Alternatively Durrington-on-Sea railway station is a 5-minute walk away.

Splashpoint Leisure Centre

Train
Splashpoint Leisure Centre is close to two railway stations, Worthing main station and East Worthing.

Worthing station: Services call at Worthing’s main station regularly from Chichester, Angmering, Littlehampton, Lancing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Hove and Brighton as well as many other destinations. Worthing station is around a 10-15 minute walk to Splashpoint Leisure Centre.
East Worthing station: One of Worthing’s local stations situated on Ham Road. Services call at East Worthing around every half hour. East Worthing station is around a 10-15 minutes walk to Splashpoint Leisure Centre.

Bus

Stagecoach is the local bus company in Worthing.

All bus and coach routes into Worthing stop in Marine Parade, opposite the Dome, which is situated approximately 5 minutes walk from Splashpoint Leisure Centre.

The following routes also run close to Splashpoint Leisure Centre:

  • Coastliner 700: The Stagecoach Coastliner 700 bus passes directly outside Splashpoint Leisure Centre and runs on a regular basis around Worthing, bus also providing services from Chichester, Arundel, Littlehampton and Brighton and many more.   • Pulse: The Stagecoach Pulse route serves Lancing, Sompting and Worthing and runs close to Splashpoint Leisure Centre on Lyndhurst Road. Please see the Stagecoach website for number 9 route timetables.

Cycle
Splashpoint Leisure Centre is very easy to cycle or walk to.

We are located conveniently close to Worthing town centre which is five minutes walk.

Along the seafront Worthing promenade has shared and dedicated cycle lanes (part of National Route 2) providing very easy access to Splashpoint Leisure Centre from Goring and West Worthing, as well as Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing, Sompting and East Worthing.

Cycle racks are provided outside of the reception.

Parking will be available at:

  • Aquarena car park: On a temporary basis the existing Aquarena car park will be open for users of Splashpoint Leisure Centre for no additional charge until further notice.  Please note: Regular checks will be conducted throughout the day by an external parking enforcement company, and anyone found to be utilising this car park that isn’t using the Splashpoint facilities at the time will be ticketed accordingly’.
  • Beach House Grounds car park: Beach House Grounds car park will provide parking for Splashpoint Leisure Centre users.

Reclaim your parking charge:

  • For users of Beach House Grounds car park, we will reimburse £1.00 per hour, up to a maximum of 2 hours (£2.00) for users of Splashpoint Leisure Centre. On purchasing your pay and display parking ticket you will receive a voucher in two parts, one to display in the vehicle, and one to present to reception for your reimbursement. (Cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer, or for private bookings/functions e.g. children’s parties.)

Davison Leisure Centre

The Davison Leisure Centre is located off Ladydell Road in East Worthing and is on the same site as Davison High School for Girls.

East Worthing station is a 5-10 minute walk from the Davison Leisure Centre.

Field Place

Field Place is just off of the Strand Parade roundabout in West Worthing.

You can reach Strand Parade by following the A259/A2031 from Littlehampton and turning right at the Centenary House roundabout, or left if coming from East Worthing/Broadwater on the A2031. Continue over the first roundabout and at the second roundabout take the left exit for Field Place/ For all other directions you can follow the A259 east/west to the traffic lights with Shaftesbury Avenue, crossing the railway over the bridge and turning right at the Strand Parade roundabout.

Alternatively, Durrington-on-Sea railway station is a 5-minute walk away.

Car
Easily accessed from the A27 and A24. The Fitness Centre is located off the north side of Grove Lodge roundabout and is accessed off Hillbarn Lane.

Train
The nearest train station is Worthing Station. Buses run regularly (please check times) from Worthing Station to Broadwater (1,5 and 7 routes).

Bus
Nearest bus stop is in Broadwater which is about a 10 minute walk to the college or Sainsbury’s Lyon’s Farm. Please see bus routes
