I bring 9 years Personal Training, Nutrition Strategies, Positive Thinking techniques.  My track record for delivering results stems from my unique holistic approach, passion and unwavering commitment to each client. 

From an early age my love of sport and exercise has played a massive part of my life.  A gymnast as a girl and then national team champion in trampolining whilst at college.  Completing Sports Science at College to then be a ski instructor for 3 seasons in Montgenevre, Soldeu and Aviemore.  Placed 3rd in the Andorran Championships for Giant Slalom.  I love running, cycling and more recently swimming, discovering a love for triathlon. Completed the 3 day Tour of Wessex on my road bike (120 miles per day).  Yes, I am one of those wild swimmers in the sea all year round, quite often without a wet suit!

Hi, I’m Charlie, 
I’m one of the fitness advisors here at South Downs Leisure and your newest YourPT trainer here at Southwick! 
 
I have always been massively into health and fitness and have a background as a competitive tumble gymnast turned coach. After a bad ankle injury stopped me from competing, my interest turned to coaching and helping the next generation of children become the gymnasts I wanted to be. I continue to teach gymnastics to this day where I now teach a wider range of abilities and ages including adults. During covid, I discovered my passion for working out and using strength training as a way to make myself stronger, both physically and mentally, whilst also trying to burn off the belly from the naughty stocked snacks. 
 
Once covid was over, I was hooked and I had made great personal progress and I decided I wanted to share that passion with the world, so I took my Level 2 Fitness Advisor Qualification and got myself straight into the gym to share my knowledge and skills. A little over a year later I took my Level 3 Personal training qualification and I am now happy to announce that I can offer you 1-1 personally tailored training sessions and programs so you can get the best results out of your body. 
 
Got a fitness goal you want to achieve? With me as your personal trainer we can discuss and plan the best strategies for getting you to where you want to be through a mixture of resistance and circuit based training. I aim to offer a fun and friendly environment so that you can feel totally comfortable within the gym and its surroundings and we can get the very most out of our sessions together. Each program will be individually tailored to your specific goals with an emphasis on progressive overload with perfect technique and programming so we can steadily push ourselves towards achieving amazing results and being the best person we can be.

Hi my name is Eleni and I am a fitness Instructor at Southwick and Lancing leisure centres and I am your newest Personal Trainer. 
 
Having dealt with personal weight issues for most of my life I made the decision to change my lifestyle and appreciate the importance of eating a nutritionally balanced and healthy diet. 
 
I am passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge to others who want to achieve similar goals, Or if you have personal targets we can discuss these and work on a plan to help you achieve your goals. 
 
As a personal trainer I offer 1-2-1 personal training sessions that will inspire, educate and encourage you to lead a healthier lifestyle through individualised and sustainable personal training plans. 
 
I also offer nutritional advice which will be an option if required as part of your Personal training session, to help alongside any goals you may want to achieve, either being weight loss, strengthening training or general well being.

Katie Hosier

My early life was marked by a love for fitness, particularly dance training, running and cardio classes. My interest in leading an active lifestyle only deepened after becoming a mother.

Life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 38. Undeterred by the challenges that lay ahead, I remained motivated throughout my treatment, using my love of fitness as a source of inspiration.

I decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry. At the age of 41 I became a fitness advisor and personal trainer, embarking on a mission to help others discover the healing potential of exercise.

My passion for fitness has evolved as I have fallen in love with strength training, recognizing its ability to build both physical and mental resilience. My dedication to continuous learning led me to qualify as a Cancer rehabilitation gym based exercise instructor. Supporting others recovering from similar health challenges.

I have added another achievement by becoming a Les Mills body pump instructor. My dedication to fitness, coupled with my compassionate approach to helping others seeking to overcome obstacles and build a strong, resilient mind and body.
